specifically the smell of butter as it hits a hot pan, which sometimes carries over to the food you cook in it. I think it's bc most store-bought and commercial butter is slightly rancid anyway, but eating it cold is ok to me? pastries seem to be ok too, maybe they use higher-quality butter [contains quote post or other embedded content]

new roll! it didn't latch onto the sprocket holes properly so my first few exposures are partially doubly exposed.
