The truth is that the Embark devs simply didn't want to pay for it. I've seen lots of reports about it. Hopefully it gets resolved soon.02 Nov 2026 18:30 +0000at://did:plc:zxhqj6qheeu7y472ksfoqcl7/app.bsky.feed.post/3mzdxgag3c2kuhttps://blacksky.community/profile/mikeadmurray.blacksky.app/post/3mz7n4qkqjkkdBest skill tree ever [contains quote post or other embedded content]01 Nov 2026 01:15 +0000at://did:plc:zxhqj6qheeu7y472ksfoqcl7/app.bsky.feed.post/3mz7n4qkqjkkdhttps://blacksky.community/profile/mikeadmurray.blacksky.app/post/3mz7lq62nbckdLess than 10 kids came around for candy. Good thing game sizes like this are an exception. Otherwise we'd be in trouble. I wonder how much work they'd have to do to get the game down to something more reasonable. The first thing I'd target is the 4K textures, which is probably the main cause of the bloat.
